9 Degrees is a leading indoor bouldering gym chain in Australia, with 6 locations across Sydney and Brisbane. They’ve built a vibrant space where climbers can train, challenge themselves on unique boulders, and connect with like-minded individuals. Throughout the year, 9 Degrees hosts a variety of events, from annual competitions to gym birthday parties—making it a place where Bouldering Makes You Happy.

Their Waterloo location hosts an annual Summer Social event, bringing the climbing community together for a night of fun competitions, food, giveaways, live music, and door prizes. I was approached by the general manager to design a beachy, summery event graphic for the 2024 Summer Social, which was adapted across an event poster, Facebook event banner, and social media graphics.
